Automation & Control Inc. (ACI) is an electrical contracting, UL panels fabricator, and systems integrator specializing in corrugating machinery installations around the US (we are licensed in 15 states and more to come) and drive and control upgrades. ACI offers total solutionsfrom concept to completion with comprehensive capabilities in automation and control engineering, control panel design and fabrication, and factory floor data collection.

The plant floor experts at ACI have developed Factory Intelligence Network (FIN) a real time and historical data-collection software thats helping corrugating plants reduce credits, increase productivity, and slash costs.

FIN connects to entire production lines, bridges disparate control systems, continually gathers machine, process, and production data, and stores all information in a single database for years. The software can draw critical data e.g. glue gaps, temperature, pressure, speed, operator name, order numberfrom both legacy and newer machines. When used proactively, it enables users to correlate raw material and machine parameters with a customers order and check product quality before shipping, thus reducing credits and waste.

FIN, is an affordable software solution that utilizes streamlined network architecture and requires no additional sensors or control panels. As an added bonus, the software generates daily e-mails of key performance indicators (KPIS) predetermined by usersto help management easily analyze important points. Web enabled FIN also allows users to view their production lines, and their sister plants, from anywhere in the world. FINs newest features include a fully customizable KPI dashboard, custom OEE calculator and reporter, and ODBC connectivity to Mintab, Excel, Crystal Reports, etc.

Our team of engineers has 125+ collective years of factory automation and engineering experience encompassing the design, programming, and installation of complete production lines; upgrading and modernization of equipment; drive system replacements; and much more for companies in a broad range of industries and sizes.
